DIRECT ANIMAL ACTION – Meeting/Workshop – Last Sunday of every month

June 25, 2017 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Join us for an update on Direct Animal Action’s current campaigns (11:30-12pm) followed by our monthly workshop (12-1pm)

We are excited to announce this month’s speakers Sam Douglas and Clare Gillard from The Black Sheep Animal Sanctuary. They will be facilitating ‘An Introduction to Privilege and Intersectionality’.

Together we will explore the intersections of oppression and the need to acknowledge and fight all oppressions through intersectional activism. No oppression is isolated and to fight one we must fight them all.

As capacity is limited for the workshop please RSVP to to reserve your seat. No RSVP necessary If you are only coming for the meeting.

Thank you to our wonderful sponsors Tart bakery for providing the snacks for this event and Hum Salon for providing the venue.

If you have any further questions/queries regarding this event or just want to find out more about DAA feel free to contact us. Sadly Hum Salon does not currently have wheelchair accessibility. We apologise for this.
